Microsoft has created a dedicated website for its new Surface tablet to keep us updated on the news surrounding the slate(s), and posted the first promo video of its foray into the tablet hardware market. The video is pretty cool, highlighting the innovations behind Surface, like the magnesium alloy chassis, the integrated kickstand and the keyboard covers.
More hands-on videos started trickling down from around the Internets, and the comments about what Microsoft has done are overwhelmingly positive.
Of course, Redmond needs to flesh out the release date and pricing details a bit more, as well as show Windows8/RT in their retail versions before any big conclusions are made, but the concept looks very promising.
