AMAZON KINDLE FIRE GOING TO GET A PRICE DROP

Amazon is preparing to drop the price of its $200 Kindle Fire by $50 as it works on replacing the tablet with a newer, enhanced version. DigiTimes said Amazon’s new 7-inch Kindle Fire will carry the same $200 price tag but will offer a sharper 1280 x 800-pixel display. The new Kindle Fire will launch during the third quarter of this year. Amazon is also reportedly working on a 10.1-inch tablet that will launch during Q4 of 2012 or Q1 of 2013, although information on that device remains slim. Early reports have suggested that it will pack a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
