Google Nexus 7: Review

As always the Google Nexus Branded tablet isn't actually hardware manufactured by Google. It has been designed and manufactured by Asus.

Asus makes some of the best tablet around, but matching the $199 price of Amazon's Kindle Fire, exceeding its meager specs would be a challenge for any manufacturer. And make no mistake: The Nexus 7 is more of an effort to crush out Amazon's version of Android more than it's attempt to dethrone Apple's Ipad.

The good news is that very little has been sacrificed along the way, unlike with Amazon's initial offering. According to Android boss Andy Rubin, Google's profit margin bears the brunt of any sacrifices made, both from  selling hardware at cost but also from tossing in generous perks such as a $25 (or £15) Google Play credit for every Nexus 7 owner.

Some Bad features of Google Nexus 7 are: It has a weak IPS display contrast, has no Micro SD card slot and also has limited storage options (only 8 GB or 16 GB ), doesn't have a camera on back and have a weak front facing camera.
But the negative doesn't bother a lot because it has more features than its price.
If you are going to buy a good tablet Google Nexus 7 should be your first choice.
